Position Summary: Assists teacher in instructing preschool children and organizing the classroom based on developmentally appropriate practices. Assists with implementing curriculum, on-going assessment, observation, and child outcomes systems consistent with program policies and the Head Start Performance Standards. Responsible for classroom daily required cleaning and sanitizing, daily food preparation, including breakfast, lunch and snack. Responsible for covering teacher and teacher assistant lunch breaks. Provides support to all classrooms at their assigned site. Works as a partner with families in the health and education of their children.

Starting Pay: $13.04 CDA: $13.32 AA: $14.91
Education Requirement: Minimum HS Diploma/GED and able to obtain a CDA within 2 years of hire.
Experience: One-year related experience preferred.
